Lobbyist Calendar
Important dates to keep in mind.
- May 1: You may begin registering for the 2011-2012 session of the
General Assembly; all registrations from the 2010-2011 will expire. §2.2-422A
- July 1: Lobbyist disclosure statements are due. Failure to submit by this date will result in a $50 civil penalty for both the lobbyist and the lobbyist's principal. §2.2-431
- July 11: Both the lobbyist and the lobbyist's principal will incur an additional penalty of fifty dollars per day until the statement is filed. §2.2-431
- December 15: Each lobbyist must send a summary or copy
of schedule A or B of the Disclosure Statement to every legislative
and executive official who is identified on either schedule. §2.2-426E
